Oh dear.

That is insane. Also hilarious. And insane.

In a way, the overly academis sounding, pseudo-intellectual lectures seemed weirder to me than the fanfic.

Except the bestiality part. *shudder* Thanks Ed, I'm scarred for life.

Academic. I meant academic.

"There's het fiction too, where they think the characters are straight. Whereas we assume that everyone is bisexual until proven otherwise"

I LOVE THIS.

'It's empowering. We are reversing the gender roles. We are saying we like porn: deal with it. A lot of men don't really know what to make of it.'

Oh now that's just dumb. People don't write slash for some deep political purpose; they write it because it's hot. People who say otherwise are being pretentious.

"Snape, who's been the baddie through six books..."

*BUZZ* Wrong! He has been morally ambiguous, but never a constant 'baddie'. Someone needs to read the books, rather than listening to the fangirls.

*Has finished*

So that was cool. And not nearly as judgemental as it might have been. Thank you, Ed.

Glad you liked it. I thought the writer wasn't being too judgemental either. Seems like she was just having fun with the whole thing.

I've only seen the movies and the Snape character doesn't like Harry but that doesn't make him a "baddie."
