Poet Musician
There is a local songwriter named David Childers that I am very fond of and he has a webpage where he writes occasional diary entries and poetry. Right now he has a poem up. Give it a gander while it's still on the front page. Powerful stuff.

I know him! My Dad is friends with him and he comes to our house sometimes. Yes, I'm gloating. Hush.
Oh yeah?! Well, I got hang out with him in Asheville at a Bob Dylan show a couple of years ago and we talked about listening to Detroit Tiger baseball games on the radio.
Not nearly as cool as him coming to hang at your house but not bad. He's one of my hero's.
Hah. He's played guitar in my living room. I definitely win.
Your "hero's"? Tsk, tsk, Ed.
Yeah, I'm with Unknown. Me, though, I've never even heard of him. I read the poem anyway, of course.
Fine, heroes. Can't a brother misspell a word now and then without the facing the ridicule of his peeps?
No.
Aren't you an only child, Ed?
No, I have two sisters and one brother. They all live in Michigan.
