Another poem about my cats
My cat has a throne
it's the back of a chair
near the front door
He lies there for hours
he sleeps, awakes
surveys the room
Passers by pay
him tribute with ear
scratches and face rubs
King of all he sees
that Xbox over there
& a child's baseball bat
This morning leaving for work
I pay tribute, withdrawing my hand
the little bastard sratched me.
Boom! That's two in a week. C'mon, you turkeys, let's see some content. OK, not quite a week but close enough.
One more thing
Where's that new mediocres? Weren't we promised one when school let out? Isn't school out?

Oh, about that. Clare is truely sorry about that, and wishs to inform everyone that it will begin updating once again this Monday. And just between us...she has a new arc planned. *evil snicker*
Geez, am I the only one that comments around here? And Ed, don't get on a high horse just yet. At this very moment I am debating whether or not to post something I wrote in the very early hours of the morning. Not that anyone'll actually read it but you and Matthew(who lurks)but whatever.
I like the poem. What a temperamental cat! One problem I spotted is in the last stanza.
This morning leaving for work
I pay tribute, withdrawing my hand
the little bastard sratched me.
The "withdrawing you hand" doesn't flow right. Something like "but I withdrew my hand" would work better. Otherwise, it's very nice.
Mother of a duck with it's head caught in a trash compactor turned on high!!!!!! COMMENT PEOPLE!!! And then post if you feel like stopping being lazy! It's summer, guys! Lookit all this free time!
Blah, blah, I'm commenting. The poem is very good...I'm working on some new stuff...patience is a virtue.
And, yes, The Mediocres will returnto the internets this Monday. And the new story arc will be a bit different and hopfully awesome.
Whoops, another thing, about the next meeting. First of all me and Grace will alomst certainly be there. Secondly, a girl I know from school is interested and may also be coming. The next meeting has the potential to be our biggest yet!
This blog seems to consist of me, my sister, and Ed. Anyone else there?
Nope, just us chickens.
Grace, thanks for the advice on the last stanza. I wasn't too happy with it myself.
You are very welcome. Man...hi there chickens. Feeling very lonely today?
Sorry, I'll try to type up my Windborn beginning soon.
